Founder Leslie Talbot co-authored a critical position paper that addressed the need for serving off-track students. According their research, “approximately 30% of New York state’s 16-21 year-olds are off-track or disconnected fro school completely.”
The paper summarizes the Pathways to Opportunity Project, a multi-year endeavor launched in the spring of 2013 with the New York State Department of Education and the SUNY Charter Schools Institute. headed by a collaborative group of experienced educators, government officials and youth development professionals.
